Testosterone suspension explained

Testosterone suspension is plain testosterone with no ester, suspended as fine particles in water rather than dissolved in oil. It was one of the earliest injectable forms of testosterone.

With no ester to remove, the hormone is active immediately. Because it is a suspension, the particles settle in the vial and need to be redistributed by shaking before use.
