What is MK-677 (ibutamoren)?
MK-677, also called ibutamoren, is an orally active growth hormone secretagogue developed by Merck in the 1990s. It is often grouped with SARMs but works differently: it mimics ghrelin at the ghrelin (GHS-R1a) receptor.
It is sometimes described as “oral HGH” because it is taken by mouth, although it is not growth hormone itself.
